GWL 11th December 1915

There is no news.  We see a good deal of Arthur these days.  It is awfully nice.  The fog still continues – very damp and rather cold.  Arthur does the mail running for us.  It is awfully kind of him and makes things much easier for us.  The ship’s people seem to have a strong dislike for seeing their boats in the water.  Vicary also sees a good deal of his brother.”

The ship was still at anchor in Salonika Harbour waiting to berth.
